Who The Hell Do U Think U Are‘ is a relatable & empowering indie pop banger with in-your-face melodies & lyrics. This new song sees Daimy reflecting on the experiences she’s had with seksist men and it is sharing a message that – unfortunately – is still very relevant to date.
“I don’t like to point fingers too much in my songs, that’s why I’m acknowledging the fact that it’s ‘not all men’ behaving like seksist beasts. Trust me, I’m well aware of this. But that’s not the point. The point is, when 1 in 3 of all women’s been assaulted, we won’t just get over it. We can’t just get over it cause it makes us feel unsafe and unseen for who we really are. You wonder why there’s so few women in this (or any other) industry? Because half of the time they’re busy raising ‘men’. And only respecting women you’re attracted to or remind you of your daughter or your mom, isn’t respecting women. Treat all of us women with respect and educate yourself, it really isn’t that hard!”
