Lunar June – you/feeling

With so much music flowing from her veins, Lunar June is in fact the writer, arranger, producer, and artist behind everything she’s touched to date. “Authenticity is a huge thing for me,” she says. “I wouldn’t want to release something that I didn’t feel in my bones.” Born and bred in West London, Olivia Judd grew up performing in orchestras and jazz bands, which she describes to be a pivotal lesson in understanding the importance of working and performing with other people; “It really made me appreciate the dynamic of playing with different people,” she nods. “And also to understand how the pieces fit together, and knowing when to play and when not to play.” It was later in her teenage years that she began to uncover the exciting soundscapes of electronic music, and she set aside her acoustic guitar for synths and sample packs.

Taking great influence from artists such as Lorde, The Japanese House, London Grammar and James Blake, Olivia began to mould and craft the sound of Lunar June: “Now more than ever there is movement and theatrics – I want people to feel it. I like to make people dance, and move, and connect. But I only ever want to write something that’s meaningful, rather than just singing empty words. I want the emotion and richness that comes with the folk music I grew up on, meshed with the movement, hooks, and infectious beats of the pop music that I adore today.”

rlyblonde – Hot Girls Always Win

Carina (rlyblonde) is a seventeen-at-heart twenty-something living in New York City working as a photographer and creative director by day, and serving as a pop-star by night. After years of supporting other artists’ and friends’ visions through photography, video production, and creative direction, she got tired of always being behind the camera and picked up a guitar for a change.

Her debut release, “Fantasy,” echoes familiar themes of heartbreak, identity, and growth that can also be seen in her past self-portraiture and personal photography work. As a multi-media artist, she takes great care to oversee all aspects of her creative work, including all original songwriting, conceptualizing, producing, and directing her own music videos, and collaborating with friends to shoot her own photography and imagery.

She credits her inspirations to many iconic artists over the years, such as Liz Phair, Avril Lavigne, Marina and the Diamonds, Hayley Williams, Courtney Barnett, and more, along with various other indie artists, friends, and clients local to NYC and LA alike. She loves going to shows, kissing her friends, being in nature, and she can’t wait to share more of the “Fantasy” universe with you this year.

MoonBee – Sunshine Roams

Luci – y am i not okay

A singer, songwriter, producer, and performer, Luci is an artist dedicated to shaping the world in a better image. After solidifying herself as an formidable presence in the dance music space and garnering a loyal fanbase, Luci embarked on a musical hiatus to explore the depths of her artistic capabilities in closer detail. A limitless creative, Luci dug deep into her roots, emerging from her intermission with a new sonic perspective via her singing and songwriting. Now, Luci is expanding her artistic breadth by evolving past the confines of EDM and moving into the world of pop and performance with a focus on unveiling her vocal prowess. With each harmonious note sung, each collaboration and production more ambitious than the next, and each lyric written a genuine unearthing of her eccentric mind, Luci’s new era is one for the people. Keeping her musical past in her peripheral, Luci distills the edge of dance music with the vibrant bravado of alt-pop music to embody her truest self.
