New York-based singer, songwriter, and producer Matty Marz is part of a new generation of young trans women who are dominating the pop music game. Weaving a rich tapestry of unapologetic lyricism, experimental electronic beats, hypnotic pop melodies, and wide-ranging genre influences, Matty is carving out a sonic lane all of her own. 

Matty brings to the table a technical background in classical music (vocals and composition) and years of experience producing, performing and writing. Additionally, she recently graduated from the Los Angeles Academy for Artists & Music Production (LAAAMP), where she was able to fine-tune her skillset.

Ellis started her musical journey at the age of 6, writing and performing self-written originals on her piano and guitar. Continuing her journey Ellis attended and graduated Berklee College of Music, receiving a bachelor’s in Music Business. While studying music she met her now frequent collaborators. After graduating Ellis began to post frequently on TikTok, gaining interest in artists such as Madison Beer, and Astn while gaining over 5.7 million views and 82,000 on social media. While continuing to grow her audience, Ellis has received over 735,000 Spotify streams on her single Imagination with Ryan Nevis, while also making her Spotify Editorial debut on the “New Pop Picks” playlist. Her release Royalty is her “first real statement as an artist” in her own words. Royalty has already garnered over 630,000 views on TikTok, with the sound being used daily by users on the platform. Her new song “Gone” is the lead single off of her debut EP coming this 2024.
